Our first meeting!

Our facebook page will be our main point of contact, although you can also sign up for remind101 texts. Our goal this semester is to build each other up, and to provide a place to learn from each other in our process of joining the field of optometry. We spoke of several exciting ideas for this semester including service projects such as relay for life, and donating used eye glasses to those in need in developing nations. We also hope to provide a small session for interview tips and tricks in September. We discussed our visiting speaker for this semester, and hopefully will have a guest speaker in October. Our next monthly meeting will be September the 24th at 6:00pm. I enjoyed so much briefly getting to know our new members, and I think this semester will be so amazing!
